For the last two week, I have been pulling my hair out for the final showing of my film to the adobe premiere workers. I am now putting the final touches on my film so that it could look presentable to them. I havent had a lot of time to be writing my blogs but I've managed to do this one.
What i think needs to be done is just editing little itty bitty details so that its a good film. To be honest I dont think Im going to finish all of it because for that , I have to give it my complete attention but I have other classes to worry about. This whole process is a challenge because of the so little time I have to finish for the program and its very stressful for me.

Editing the most recent interview
This most recent interview was the mos important on because its the one I have to put in the film. I interview christin, the star of the whole project. The place we did it at was on the roof of her building, which was very beautiful. We talked about her bullying experience as a younger child. The whole thing was fine until when christin finally started to cry, a couple of police officers came up to us and told us we had to go. They messed up the entire ending of the interview, but I got enough.
The editing process of this interview was very stressful. I had to sit down look for close things that I wanted specifically in the film and that took about 2 weeks to do entirely. Christin was sometime next to me when I would edit. It was difficult to do it with her because she didn't want everything she said to be in the film, but the things that she hated wee the things that I think would make the film a good one.
This interview will be all over the film. She will be explaining her story through out the whole thing. It is the biggest part of this film because thats how the audience will know what is going on. This one interview will hold the film together like glue, because with out it, it will fall apart.

4th Quater Goals
At this point of the process I am now trying to make our final film that will be 10 minutes long. I have to get all the editing done by may 10th, and that 7 days from now so Im kinda in a rush to get everything perfected in time. In quarter 3 I accomplished a lot like interviewing, filming b-roll, soundtrack and also trying to mange time. Also in quarter 3 with the help of my team I managed to make a 5 minute film of it to show to the adobe premiere workers.
What I need to do to finish this in time is to keep working on editing everyday and manage all my time well. I dont think I have to do anymore filming because I got enough to work with. I want to mak sure that I get every single detail so that I dont get bad feed back from the audience it self.
The things that intimidate me for the next few weeks are getting all my blogs done and getting a good grade in this class. This week I also nervous about school getting ready to end, so that means this class will end. Other than those things, I have no doubts about my film because I know it is good enough to show to other people and they will like it themselves.

Saying the word "help"
My group and I are currentlly in the process of making a short film about bullying and it surrounds a girl that had to deal with bullying in elementary school. This whole story is to show how she overcame every obstacle that came her way through that period in her life. So, we interviewed her and got everything that happened those years. When we finally got everything we needed to put into our short film's trailor, we started to get deeper and deeper into the whole topic. I think that's why now I feel so strongly against bullying.
Whenever I hear or see bullying happening, it gets me so mad. The thought of someone weaker and timid getting pushed around by someone bigger or stronger makes me think about my little sister getting push around. If she ever gets bullied, I would step in. I have never been pushed around because I know how to stand up for myself and fight.

I know I know how to stand up for myself, but some kids don't. So I did some research to find out why and I found this acticle - Why dont kids speak up to bullying. Most kids who are being bullied can't ask for help because they're too afraid. They want to get help from somebody, but sometimes they don't get help. Sometimes they do ask but no one who really cares helps them. The victims of bullies are most of the time weak, timid, and quiet, and thats why they need someone who will listen and who cares to make them stronger. They need someone to encourage them when they feel discouraged.
So now learning this new information, I will put this into my film by using captions to share the facts.

The Road Forward
This project surrounds a teenage girl's story about her past, being abused and tormented. She was a victim of bullying and she shares her story to the camera and how she over came it all. The goal we have for our film is to change the way people think about themselves and feel if they are being bullied. This process took a lot of time and editing, but it got done and it was perfected. Until, one day my group and I had finally finished it one minute and the next it was erased completely from the computer. Luckily it was only the trailer. At that time we felt like giving up, but we didn't. We had to start all over again and did it in two days. It's not done completely, but I know with the help of my team we can do it.
By the end of third semester we should have a complete interview already edited. We should have also decided how many interviews to include in the video. I would like to be half way done or almost done with the movie by that time. I want us to have as much time as we need to take our time carefully and edit everything until it is a 5 star movie. Interview Questions
In order for us to complete our task and goals we need to stay concentrated but, I dont think that will be a problem because my group is very organized in my opinion. We usually plan most of everything out before we do it. Things like what days we film, the location, the weather, when we are shooting just B-Roll, and even what we are gonna say or do. We do this so that we do not waste any time at all and have an on point schedule. Our cooperation with each other is very well managed and none of us are slackers when it comes to this film. My group and I have a great bond together and we always have fun doing it.
